About EVA


EVA (Esports Virtual Arenas) is creating the sport discipline of tomorrow thanks to immersive technologies. Our large-scale arenas offer a unique entertainment experience: equipped with a VR headset and a connected gun, players can move freely in a 500 square meters arena! Every gamer has often imagined themselves actually being in their favorite video game, EVA makes this dream come true with free roaming virtual reality.

All of our locations also include a CyberBar and a lounging area. Visitors can order drinks and food after or before their games while watching players battle in the arenas, which makes EVA great places to gather and enjoy some time with friends, family or even colleagues.

EVA was first introduced as a world premiere at the 2019 Paris Games Week. After a 10M€ funding round in 2021, EVA is expanding internationally to bring VR esports everywhere. We have over 60 employees, mostly based in France, but growth now resides in international.

EVA is expanding through a franchising model and is growing quickly with over 50 locations opened across France, Europe, the US and the Middle East. Our first location in Spain will open in Madrid in October 2024, and we expect the Spanish market to quickly become as big and profitable as France (35 locations opened, more than 60 signed).

Role


We are looking for a Franchise Sales Manager for our Spanish market who will help us expand our franchise network and scale EVA in Spain. This role will be based in Madrid, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (based in France), and manage a junior business developer in Spain.

Roadmap and business strategy: Definition of the Spanish business strategy, including the territory to cover and target (main cities / zones), understanding the qualification of new leads, preparing materials to help prospecting and pitching partners. Ability to meet short and medium-term objectives.

Business development, search for new franchisees: Creation (jointly with our Chief Revenue Officer) and execution of the development plan integrating lead generation and qualification, contract management with specific clauses negotiation, closing.

Process, analyse, and report: Using our CRM, implementation of processes and automated workflows for effective pipeline monitoring. Reporting and monitoring of objectives directly to the top management.

Partnerships: Find and manage local partners to grow the EVA network locally in Spain.

Background


Bachelor to Master's degree in Sales or Business (or equivalent relevant experience);

5+ years of experience as Senior Sales or Country/Business Development Manager, either in a fast-growing start-up or the tech/entertainment industry. Experience in developing a franchise network is a plus.

Ability to define business strategy, execute go-to-market strategy and reach out to targeted prospects thanks to the support of your manager;

Ability to lead contract negotiations and evaluate potential of a (future) client;

Knowledge of the video games and esports sectors is a plus / Knowledge of the VR sector is a plus;

Spanish native or bilingual, English fluency is required. French is a plus.
